Great compact weapon. I have its little brother in Ruger .44 Special, my favorite "on the farm" gun.

What does this revolver weigh?

Somebody needs to jump on this a perfect backcountry sidearm.

This Ruger is a great gun at a very reasonable (cheap) price. The 4 5/8" barrel length is an ideal length (That is the barrel length that Elmer Keith recommended)

I have the old model Ruger 44M Blackhawk (1960) and these guns are accurate and easy to carry.
