This requires a field report - bidding at auction as is my want - that and beer anyhow up pops a Baikal O/U 9.3x74 R @ Bonhams Auctioneers in the UK -
Will have a punt at that - described as excellent - the hammer fell @ £166-40 - or approx 200 USD -
18 months later it has finally arrived - Brand new unfired - so off to the range to test my new purchase in the coming days !
Now the problem is I am indeed this cheap as some of you know- so a PH who asked not to mention his name on hearing of my good fortune said on my next trip he could probably find me a serious cull buff for cheap - he of course knows I love cheap ! - So if I can get it to regulate - the tale of the $200 double dropping a $2000 Buff may come to pass
Will be interesting ! Though rumour and a chat with the Baikal importer for UK there are three SBS in the country ! Who knew !
