As an outsider looking in (only been to around 20 European countries) the European Common Market was probably a good thing. The expansion to the EU was the beginning of the downfall. Europe is stuck with unelected bureaucrats in Brussels making policy and decisions who are accountable to no one...

It would definitely be a major talking point in the election if an opinion comes out in July that frames the 14th Amendment as applying to slaves, which it did, and not as some all encompassing statement. It probably helps Republicans in R+ States/Districts and helps Democrats in D+ States...

Just curious. Did you have the same convictions when Obama had over 500 drone strikes against terrorists in at least four countries. A few of which I remember included multiple strikes against an already destroyed vehicle/building with wounded laying around. Since you are an attorney, what was...

Scalia was certainly one of a kind. The only Justice who could make an opinion or descent scathing yet entertaining at the same time.

As I posted above. This article doesn’t fit the narrative of most on the AH Political Forum. Unlike most opinion pieces found in places like the NYT or WP, the author cites the reasoning behind his opinions and while some are open to interpretation they are things that actually have...

When a boat is hit and still above water does that mean it can’t be hit again. If those are the rules of war then the Akagi, Kaga, Soryu and Hiro might still be sailing around Midway.

+1 Nice synopsis. You may have missed Kushner's greatest accomplishment on your list. The Abraham Accords which helped set up the peace deal between Israel and Palestinians, and has the potential to usher in a long term era of cooperation between the Jews and the Arabs.
