Harvard has apx 100 law professors at any one time. Goldsmith is the only conservative teaching there now. Yale has no conservative law professors. This is pretty much the same throughout the Ivy League law schools and institutions like Georgetown, Stanford, Northwestern and similar schools that...

The Board of Peace is the start of Trump slowly trying to make the omnipotent UN irrelevant. The countries that put up the 1B are the ones that decide how to use the money. Not the people at 1st Avenue and E 42nd Street. The days of 150 third world countries voting for 30 first world...

DOJ is a massive mess! The vast majority of their attorneys come from very liberal law programs. Dhillon has done a great job with the civil division firing or getting resignations on over half the attorneys. She is also on top of potential problems immediately like the Minneapolis church...

You are correct regarding BYD and Canada. I knew the EU and Australia bought carbon credits from BYD and was painting with too broad a brush. My bad. European auto makers especially buy the carbon credits from ev companies like and including BYD, making their own vehicles higher in price and...

I certainly don’t know the details but it is my understanding that BYD makes more money from selling carbon credits to EU, Canada, Australia than they make on their vehicles. Those countries are basically subsidizing China to bring cars into their countries.

Seven Republican senators voted to impeach Trump. Pretty sure Trump has successfully primaried four of them or gotten them to retire by saying he would primary them. Cassidy makes the fifth. If Democrats win the midterms Trump will be impeached again. Call it self preservation. Call it...

We may be near the fulcrum. Some prognosticators say we will tip one way and others the opposite. You bring up the AI explosion going on. Over Thanksgiving I was with a family member who provides ancillary products to the AI industry. AI has gone from nonexistent to his second largest...

Beer/alcohol consumption has been used to judge economic health in the past. The question now is it still a good indicator since the general population is decreasing alcohol consumption. Especially since the younger generation has been turning their noses up to alcohol. 54% of adults report to...

With annualized CPI at 2.7%, below most estimates, it doesn’t look like tariffs are having much of an affect on inflation. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/cpi.nr0.htm

I agree that there are probably a lot more important things to deal with. I don’t disagree that it is political. From both sides. My question is regardless of reasons how is it okay for one side to disregard a Congressional subpoena and get away with it and the other side to be prosecuted and...
