Originally from Ohio, where I hunted deer, turkey, small game, and birds. I moved to Tennessee to hunt bear, boar, and turkey, and also to fish for trout.
I had dreamt of hunting the Dark Continent since the third grade, when I read W. Douglass Burden's "Look To The Wilderness". It lit a fire inside me, and I knew I HAD to experince Africa myself.
I went on my first safari in '21. It started out as a PG safari, but I was fortunate enough to take a very nice cape buffalo bull while I was there.
I've been back already, and, Lord willing, will return many times.
