That should work for most anything that needs shooting. I’d opt for the 450gr for Elephant, but I bet the 400 would work great on anything else.

What velocity are you getting?

Sometimes tweeting the magazine spring will remedy this. Most any Winchester 70 I’ve owned would feed most anything I put in it with a little adjustment.

The only airline I’ve ever had to weigh my ammo is Qatar. They included the weight of the case in the total weight. Mine was just under 11lbs, so I had no need to argue with them.

Thanks! I was thinking about putting a thicker pad on my Sako Kodiak and the original looks to be glued on, but maybe the screw holes are just extremely small.

If you don’t mind me asking, was the original recoil pad glued on or screwed on?
