I think starting with the 35 Whelen they have stopped limiting the runs to 250 rifles. The 270 was probably selected because of the 100 year anniversary and it is probably being produced in unlimited numbers too. I am hoping for a .30-06 or 7x64 soon.
I have one of the new Ruger Alaskan Bush rifles in 9.3x62 that I would like to sell. New in box, I have not even put the bolt in the action yet. Let me know if you are interested and I can send pictures and more information.

I have bought a few rifle slings for my Ruger No. 1s from a vendor I found on Amazon, Wayne's Dog. I have not used them much yet, but the leather seems good. I got the ones that hold cartridges on the sling.
I saw the video last week and talked to one of the small gun shops in my area about getting one. He put in a "wish list" request and later that night he had one on the way. It arrived yesterday and I will be on my way to pick it up tomorrow or Saturday.
Has anyone heard of an update on these rifles? I have emailed Montana multiple times without any response. Sounds like a great way to promote a new rifle.
