Will reloading disapear with the new too lazy to do it generation

Reloading aside (which my 28 year old son has completely covered at this point). It may be about where hey live and their life circumstances. I live in the "deep-south" USA, where being "manly" still carries some weight. I doubt my 25 year old daughter would even date a guy who wasn't a...

    Blaser R8 - 458 WM or 458 Lott

When you need to add BB gun velocities to your DG loads, the problem is not velocity. A .458 WM will take anything that walks on land. (It's probably fine for whales too, if your so inclined (and licensed) of course)) A .460 Weatherby is best for whales...

Vertical POI shift. What’s causing it?

I have a Kimber 84M that I nearly gave up on while testing various factory ammo. That was until someone gave me 10 rounds of Federal Premium factory ammo loaded with 140g Nosler Accubond bullets. It shot sub 0.5 MOA with that ammo. Of course, Federal quit making the ammo... It shoots...

How do you seat primers ?

I just use a primer pocket brush and the priming arm on my RCBS Rock Chucker. I've had a few issues over the years with primers being too high. I just deprime the cases and try to do a better job cleaning the pocket on the next run. This almost always works. I didn't used to always...

    Blaser R8 - 458 WM or 458 Lott

With the Lott barrel you can shoot both. With that being said, there is no longer any problems with .458 Winchester. Recoil with the .458 Lott can be brutal.

338 Win Mag for plains game

I have a .338 and a .340 WBY. Both would be fine on PG. However, I think a .30/06 would be just as good, with the right bullets. I know I've said this several times before, but asked 6 PH's around a campfire one night "What cartridge would you prefer your clients bring for plains game...

The "basics" for guns in America

I guess the question should have been something like "Besides a .22 rimfire, what do you think is the most useful rifle for a 25 year old woman?"

The "basics" for guns in America

I think she could be persuaded to hunt, if she found the right guy. I doubt that she would have any interest in competition, but you never know.

The "basics" for guns in America

My daughter isn't a hunter. She's not an "anti-hunter," just a non-hunter. She owns a handgun (S&W 380 EZ) and she can shoot very well. She's only 5'2", so needs to get shoulder fired firearms that fit, but at a price point that is not excessive. "Santa" gave her a Pointer Acius O/U 20...

Will reloading disapear with the new too lazy to do it generation

I'm a first year Gen X'er and my business partner is a "Boomer." We just avoid politics, because many "boomers" where either Viet Nam vets or "hippies" in the 60's. He didn't go to Viet Nam. Luckily, my son and I are mostly aligned on politics, although he is not quite as "conservative"...

    Best multitool?

I prefer a Swiss Army knife for EDC, but have a few multitools. I have an original Leatherman, a Leatherman Wave, and a Gerber Multi-Plier. If I were going to get another it, would be a Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit X. I've messed around with one quite a bit and really like the quality.

Will reloading disapear with the new too lazy to do it generation

My Gen Z son bought 1,000 primers last week... And these new cartridges they love so much won't be around in 20 years, so they will either have to, or use that that 6mm ARC rifle as a tomato stake. (unless their too lazy to grow tomatoes!)

    Rear trigger

Front to back, unless I am purposefully using a different bullet in the left barrel.
