No difference in performance. I’ve got 2 x R8 professional and 1 by R8 PH. Between them I have 2x right handed bolt carriers with long rails, 1 x RH bolt carrier with short rails and 1 x LH carrier with long rails. I swap them between rifles often and there’s no difference in operation or feel.
