Been on the lookout for one of these 9.3x57 rifles. Probably similar to 358 but I believe those 9.3 286 grain bullets just hit harder.

If I don’t own a rifle in that caliber I don’t buy it. My issue comes up when I trade a rifle and no longer have a use for that ammo. I usually give it or sell it to a friend that has a rifle that uses it.

My guess is one of 2 things, either the chamber neck of is smaller or the chamber has a shorter neck causing the bullet to be contacting the rifling before firing. Both these conditions can cause over pressure situations. A chamber cast may reveal the culprit. Just one old hunter who loves...

When the emerald Ashe borers came thru 8-10 years ago it killed all the Ashe trees which was about a third of the trees on my hunting property. So we are cutting them up as they fall. Nice seasoned wood that burns great in our wood stove and is no challenge for my little poulan. All the saw I need.
