    Magnum Primers

I've heard of these mythical Large Rifle Magnum Primers, but none of any manufacturer have been spotted in my area for several years. Best regards,

    Rifle Actions (Ranked)

Ruger No.1 '03 Springfield 98 Mauser Mannlicher-Schoenauer The 98 should probably be above the Springfield, but I have a soft spot for the '03. Every built '03 I've ever handled has been amazingly smooth and fast to cycle. Best regards,

Favourite quotes - Here's mine, Quite a long list. What's yours?

From my grandfather, who was one of the most honest people I've ever known. "I'm too lazy to lie, it's too hared to keep all the stories straight." Best regards,

    Info on Mannlicher Schoenauer carbine

Due to the 1934 proof dates, it is likely one of the Greek 1903 "1930 System" rifles that has been modified. Possibly one of the post war Mannlicher-Schonauer rifles that Stoegers had Steyr build on a cache of unissued Greek 1930 System rifles they discovered. This might explain the plastic...

Picked up a Sedgley Springfield Sporter; with a story

A few weeks ago I attended an auction and picked up this very nice, un-molested 30-06 Sedgley Springfield Sporter. This is a somewhat scarce model because it has a cheek piece, which was special order only, and it has the Sedgley “Speed Lock”. I have a real soft spot for classic pre-war...

My “Old but New” Winchester Pre-64 .375 H&H

I'm confused by the pictures. Is the bottom picture reversed? Best regards, Edit: enlarging the picture I can see that the lettering is backwards, so the picture is reversed.

Which rifle do we crown as the best looking ever?

I may have already stated this in this thread, but I think some of the best looking rifles ever produced are coming from Joel Dorleac of Dorleac & Dorleac. Everything I've seen from them is spectacularly elegant, with just about perfect lines. Best regards,

    375 Ruger vs 375 H&H

I have no experience with the 375 Ruger, but one more thing I'd put in the plus column of the 375 H&H is one thing I haven't seen mentioned yet in this thread, and that's the amazing smooth, and sure feeding and extraction of the 375H&H. Best regards,

And his second term unless the party wakes up and realizes that there's not a snowball's chance in Hell of Trump getting elected again. It's time to move on. Best regards,
