The Dakota 76 is a great rifle. Switching between the 400H&H and the 375 H&H is easy and the accuracy remains spot on. The 400 H&H took buffalo in the Niassa last October and the 375 H&H took a number of plains. No adjustments upon arrival or after switching barrels and scopes.

My chronographed load using IMR4064 gives me 2434, a standard deviation of 10 with a 5 shot group and very good accuracy from my 400. Results are very similar to my 416 REM using No Fork SS for both, accuracy is slightly better than the 416, recoil in my opinion is noticeably less. I like the...

I have the 300 H&H, 375 H&H and the 400 H&H. Love them all!

I use Bertram for my 300 Flange. Cases vary lot to lot. I’d had o anneal them before loading as I’ve had issue with necks splitting. Some cases are very hard. I’ve not had any issues after annealing.

The 400 H&H is a great caliber and I’ve got the best of both worlds with the 375 as the second barrel. RR 314 my wife says you can have the right of first refusal if I make her mad and she start selling my possessions. [emoji30][emoji23][emoji23]
