Ah, now it's all coming back to me @deewayne2003 - that was an absolutely fantastic accounting of your hunt in the NT and I enjoyed it immensely. Extremely well done all the way around and you can see my comments at the time. Your report may have been the reason I didn't one on my OZ hunt...
Many thanks for all of the kind words, gentlemen - I am very pleased indeed with how they turned out! @Tim Blackwell , I passed along your comments to Matt Otten and he was honored to hear that compliment coming from you, so thank you very much for taking the time to post! Please do share some...
Plus One on the Swarovski 8x30 SLC's. In my mind, they are the perfect bino when you are out stalking, whether it be Africa, Australia or wherever - field of view and spotting game is the most important thing to me and they excel in both those categories. I'm always going to be counting on my...
Many thanks @AZDAVE @Green Chile @gillettehunter @ACE (in CT) and @Mtn_Infantry . It was truly one of the highlights of our trip and really brought everything together for me. One thing I failed to mention, on the way in to camp from Beira in the big chopper, Pete probably had us somewhere at...

Thank you so much @Smitty - that means a great deal to me. I tried to capture the true essence of the hunt - the highs, the lows and the emotions that you go through on a fifteen day hunt. As @Green Chile mentioned above and again in his adventures in Argentina, you hope you can write a report...
With my son Ian and his MOZ bull; it was a one shot kill with his CZ 550 in 9.3x62. That safari made a believer out of me on that cartridge - what's not to like about a rifle you can carry all day, has little recoil and way outpunches it's weight class!
Thanks for the kind words and the feedback @Green Chile ; greatly appreciated! I think all of our collective hunts have so many parallels that when you put them side by side, the only thing that changes is the place and the animals - they all have triumphs (hopefully), but sooner or later a...
@Green Chile , thanks for taking us on this ride - that was an exceptional report covering as you said, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Enjoyed it immensely and felt like I was right there with you on the close encounter, wondering how inadequate you must have felt at that very moment without...
