Yes ElandPro safari , we saw lots of eland. Even watched a bull and 3 cows slam through the outer fences right in front of us. Amazing animals, but we personally were not after any eland. The Canadians that were there did have several opportunities at some nice bulls and either missed the shot...

The greatest part of the day was coming back to the compound, they had a second group there that was hunting with Gerrit's cousin Peter. They were from BC, Canada... Had all these big stories about killing tons of bears and this and that... The first morning all we had run into was that jackal...

We ate a form or multiple forms of the game meat every day 3x a day! Amazing food, usually has a bit of German influence. Gerrit did most of the BBQ outside in their covered seating area, and on the grill, as well as, when we went fishing he BBQd some gemsbok sausage for breakfast and lunch...

We fished in northern Namibia on the Okavango for 2 days. That was a ton of fun, the hippo bull charging our boat. It was so much fun, our PH Gerrit Breedt was our fishing guide as well... ready to go back in a year or 2!

I had a great time, my broken horned kudu and wildebeest were a couple of my favorites. They were big old and crusty. Even though they had a broken horn, very impressive animals. 9-10 years old estimated.
