Never understood why you'd want to chop a barrel that short. Never had a problem with a longer barrel and you'll get more velocity.

I agree that hunting eland is as tough as hunting roan and a lot like hunting buffalo if you track them. Frankly, I love hunting eland and they are the best eating antelope in my opinion.
