Cool rifle i love Army and Navy i have one by Westley Richards in 450ne. And i have a Barella double in 500465.

I just adquired a new double a Barella 500465 .I welcome any info about them even estimated price.

I have had several clients with Searcys and they are of course very different rifles from the 70s to the last ones.They work but some are a bit heavy and rustic

I resusitate this post because i have shot thousands of rounds with doubles every year.First theres not comparation between Heym and Searcy just buy a Heym .But for the money i would buy a Chapuis then a Merkel or a Krieghoff. Merkels are very good but their sharp borders will cut tour fingers...

I have several #Chapuis one of them with over 500 shells fired not issues .I own Merkels and several english and germans too.But for daily use i have a Chapuis 470NE

Chapuis and Merkels are very good rifles so Zanardini and several italians

The best for the money are the Chapuis Iphisi its a working double not engraving but it works.I have Chapuis with over 500 shells fired

Trust me buy an used Chapuis

Ihave several Chapuis one with near 500 water buffalos and continued use in the swamps
