Well Don Heath aka Ganyana agreed with you but Richard Harland no and Wayne Grant neither.The difference is that the seconds are avid wing shooters expert shotgunners.I used both for big pumas and leopards.

I saw Don Heath used his 9,3 x 62 for everything,Mynhard Herholdt used the 9,3 x74r for buffalo but they are pros .I would recommend my clients a 375hyh minimun.But in good hands the 9,3 can do the job
