Thanks everyone for the quick help. I removed more material, and have the mount cantilevered like I think it was intended. This was definitely wrong before, and I hope it gets back into reasonable regulation.

That is a problem…ironically…not seeing that is why I mounted it in the first place

You are exactly correct. I had to remove some additional material, and it cantilevers correctly now. Re-bluing as I type, and the will reinstall. I’ll keep on the look out for the correct mount PN, and replace this modified one as soon as I can. Thanks

4 for the Aimpoint, and 2 for the mount. One of the screws is hard to get at. I’ll double check that
