I bought this rifle on friday......after proper inspection and testing. Dislikes.....the caliber 458WM could rechamber to 450 Ne or 450 No 2 NE.... Likes.... The price... Serial nr. MR008 IT balances perfect and the fit is also perfect. Can be self regulated mid barrel and at the muzzle...

Ejectors work perfect. .. Single trigger on this is not an issue it is a mechanical trigger even if the first shotis a dud you pull it again and the next barrel fires. Yes no barrel selector but that should not be an issue... Neither is regulation this double can be regulated at the barrel...

Nope......330 vs .319.....

With standard bullets 400gr .423 for the 404 Jeff and 410gr .416 for the 416 this is unfortuanately not the case....

Go with the H&H but use 500 grn... 577 lacks penetration..... Alternatively sell both buy a 500 NE and hunt more elephant.....
