Hoofprint

I retired in early 2015, so now I have more time for my personal interests, & can get away on a hunting trip much more easily - without needing to arrange it a year ahead of time! My venison pies are enjoyed by the whole family, including grandchildren.

My best hunting tip
Only shoot a rifle calibre where you can comfortably tolerate the recoil, without any flinching. There is nothing wrong with an extra recoil pad on your shoulder or a recoil-reducer built into the stock. This helps put your first shot into the vital target area, so you don't spend the next day tracking a wounded animal (and feeling really foolish!)
My other interests
Camping, fishing & golf.
