It’s not busy to me IMO. I’m shooting 8.6 blackout so I need more than the fire dot. Not looking to change my primary optic, I’m very happy with it, love it, has illuminated reticle. My rifle is lightweight already so the addt 9oz really doesn’t feel like much.

No the red dot would be mounted on top of the scope. Not replaced and not swapping.
