Agreed, I shoot my .470 at AR500 plates with no problems. Mild steel… even a 30-30 will wreck 5/8th mild steel at 100yds

I just shot my steel 10 inch 1/2 thick AR500 at 75 yards with 420 gr CEB Raptor and a 400 gr CEB solid and there was no damage and boy...

There is zero chance of a ricochet if you hang steel targets on an offset with tire rubber straps.

Use tire rubber to hang your steel. Bullets do not destroy it and there is zero chance for a deflection off of it. I’d never go back to...

Make sure the plates are hung on an offset so the lead goes to ground.
