I’ve worn the Kuiu Gila pro on my last two safaris in Zimbabwe in September and October where it was up to 114 Fahrenheit. It’s still hot but these shirts are very light and wick great and have spf of 50. They’re heading there again this year

Thanks for the info Mark. I’ll e there next month so I’m curious where my bag will be. I guess if the firearms tag isn’t put in my checked bag with ammo my bag will come out on the usual carousel? Have a great trip!!

I’ve done four safaris with Jacques taking four of my nephews and three different friends and all have been great. Trophies and accommodations are top notch and Jacques and Riian are a joy to be around. He will treat you right and you will rebook!! You won’t have a better time

Flew Delta last September. Delta is the one requiring you to fill out the declaration- which I did. Went to the red line and the attendant couldn’t care less and just waved me thru. I had $5000 in cash. I just filled it out again for my July safari- on Delta again

Awesome report- really enjoyed taking the trip with you. You stuck to your guns on the Buffalo which proves you don’t have to shoot something to have a great safari!!

I had the exact experience with Wyatt. I will no longer use him and my taxidermist will no longer recommend him.

With this itinerary do you need a South African gun permit??

I’ve been told and experienced you have to book your Airlink flight on the same itinerary as the Delta flight if you want to check your bags straight through to Atlanta from Harare. I didn’t do that last year and had to recheck my bags in Johannesburg- after of course the thieves stole several...

What you’re paying for is the help you receive when flights are cancelled or connections are late requiring rescheduling or bags are lost or gun requirements made clear or…. Everything is fine until it isn’t!

I just shipped some as an individual. Only UPS or FEDEX can ship ammunition and I had to ask my local gun shop to do it for me as an individual, if you’re honest about the contents can’t ship ammunition as I read the Guidelines
