I've not heard much about the older monarch UCC 1.5-4.5x ~20ishmm scopes. Has anyone tried those or did they have something unsuitable about them?

Is this the same 1-4 monarch 3 (aka: later iteration of the african) that has been touted as indestructible here on the forum? If so, I may have to take a chance! Does it have the German #4 reticle or a bdc reticle?
