There are a very few bunch of men that are just fast with full house loads. There's a gentleman from Australia on the forum that made an R8 in .500 Jeffery look like a semiautomatic. There was another gentleman that did not fair so well in his video and looked as though he was ballroom dancing...
Yeah Bob runs Bubba's pissin' hot handloads. I have a .375 H&H No. 1 so I can turn up the volume as well. It's incredible with hot loaded 300's or 285's. No Whelen or Win Mag can touch it, but really who cares? As long as we keep juicing up the darling cartridges and holding back the opposition...
This is the case with my 300 blk with a 10.5" barrel negligible shift. About an inch higher with the AR 16" unsuppressed. About 3.5" higher with the 300 WM 26 or 28" unsuppressed.
The thing we fear to write is that suppressed has its advantages. You get more second chances. Plain and simple. Yes the gun still makes noise, but the overall disruption to the surrounding area is much less.
Say it ain't so and I'll say you don't know.
Sooo remove the rear sight and give yourself a whole lot more options for scopes. QD rings are not to be feared. I literally had an entire range day where I did nothing but proof of concept firing with warne rings, two different scopes and iron sights. It was boring. The point of impact didn't...
Do you have provisions for attaching a front sight or is the rear sight just holding until relieved? I thought about cutting mine to 16" and moving the sights back for the option to suppress when I wanted to. I felt like the .375 needs maximum velocity to maintain what it needs to be the...
The second shot is half the fun. Getting back up and slamming that second shell home is a rush! Of course you have to do it without dancing backwards...
This is an amazing display. I love the smooth cycling from the shoulder. This is nearly as cool as @Aussie_Hunter, but to be fair he had an R8. Very impressive!
I'm not shooting African game with them...they were cheap and it was mostly a joke. It would be nice for someone to come out with Lott ammunition and not feel like it was worth $20/shot. Some times we like to hunt or shoot with big rifles and not spend our lunch money quickly.
If it's a big bore...someone will pay a lot for it. I have always said that if I ever dropped my .458 Lott, it wouldn't hit the ground. The .450 NE crowd seems to be crazier than the Lotties. I always wondered about a .416 Rigby myself.
