- My best African Trophy
- my top trophy was a massive Cape buffalo hunted in the Selous Game Reserve. On a 10-day safari, we tracked a 42-inch dagga boy through thick miombo. Using a .416 Rigby, my client landed a perfect heart shot at 40 yards after a tense stalk. That buffalo’s scarred boss hangs as a testament to Tanzania’s wild heart and my passion for crafting epic hunts.
- My favorite African trophies
- my favorite African trophies tell stories of skill and the wild. Topping the list is a 42-inch Cape buffalo from the Selous Game Reserve, taken with a .416 Rigby on a 10-day hunt. Its scarred boss was earned after a tense 40-yard stalk through miombo. Next, a majestic lion from Masailand, with a coal-black mane, bagged with a .375 H&H near a river bait—pure adrenaline.
- My preferred weapon(s)
- my preferred weapons for African trophies are chosen for reliability and stopping power. For dangerous game like Cape buffalo and lion, I favor the .416 Rigby—its heavy-hitting 400-grain bullet ensures clean kills, ideal for the Selous or Masailand.

- My other interests
- My passions enrich my life and complement my work. I’m captivated by wildlife photography, capturing the Serengeti’s golden light on a lion’s mane during balloon safaris or a leopard’s silhouette on Tarangire night drives. Cultural immersion fuels me I love spending time with Maasai and Hadzabe communities, learning their traditions and sharing them through volunteering programs. Hiking Tanzania’s trails, from Kilimanjaro’s slopes to Ngorongoro’s rim, keeps me grounded in the landscapes I share with clients. I also enjoy sea kayaking in Zanzibar’s turquoise waters, exploring mangroves and coral reefs. These interests—photography, cultural exchange, hiking, and kayaking—blend seamlessly with my safaris, night drives, and walking tours, deepening my connection to Tanzania’s wild and vibrant soul.
