I’m a Beefeater g&t guy.
I make my own tonic syrup. It’s a game changer. I can control the sweetness, the bitterness and the flavor profile. Google Morgenthaler Tonic Syrup for a starter recipe. I. Use TopoChico for bubbles.
My only experience is three MkII 77's. Two have/are being rebarreled ( out of choice not necessity). The '06 is the only one wearing original barrel. These are CRF Lefties. They shoot 1MOA or less. As others have said, Barrel, stock, action screws all matter.
I got dies from Redding a couple months ago. While they were "'custom series" dies, they were already made so I didn't have to wait for them. I was told by the guy that I spoke with that Redding usually keeps some on shelf. My experience only.
I bought a set from Redding a couple months ago. I'd check or check back as I was told they had them on the shelf. I was given a part number and directed to an intermediary who ordered part at my direction. Two weeks later, I get a die set. I don't know ow, maybe just my lucky day. Best of luck
For 286 gr bullets velocity will need to be >2410 fps to break 5000j.
For 300gr bullets velocity will need to be >2353 fps to break 5000j.
Last time I looked Namibia did NOT have a .375 caliber restriction.
My Ruger #1 has made 2 trips. I carried it on my first and my daughter carried it on her first. 225gr A Frames are bad PG medicine! Just about perfect. Killed kudu, gemsbok, zebra and smaller stuff.
As to headstamps, it depends on where you are going. Namibia has not checked in multiple trips.
