Hello guys I'm back again for more knowledge, I know this may sound stupid but I already know a MALE Sable is unmistakable and strikingly distinctive but my question is how does one identify between a Roan and a FEMALE Sable...from my uneducated eye they look similar
That's one situation I'm looking at I already own a remington 700 in 30-06 but have the option of purchasing a 375 HH or a 458 Win Mag....I'm leaning towards the 458 so I can cover BOTH sides of the spectrum...I'll invest in the ammo cost and the PAST pad to get up to speed with that 458 lol
I surprised you've had it as long as you b4 someone bought it I never really came into the classifieds here till last night it was exciting and disheartening
If not sold within the next few weeks you definitely have a buyer....pockets are kinda shabby right now and I don't have any gear WORTH trading for such a scope lol
Hello I inquired about the course b4 but are personal rifles allowed in the course or only camp rifles used....I'm asking because I currently working on getting a zastava m70 in 458 win mag (currently on layaway) and I know this may sound dumb but I really want real time experience with such...
I mean would it make sense for the thin skinned cats....my logic being if certain handgun calibers can rake a brown bear why not a lion or leopard?????, of course they would be less effective on buffalo for obvious reasons....im not here to contradict im here for knowledge and understanding
I was wondering because I see A LOT of new and used 700's in 375 and up....and I'm wondering why Remington doesn't at least beef up the extractor in the larger calibers if they know that is the weakest link in the design, I know cost may be an issue but I'm like ANY rifle chambered in such...
Hello to all I was interested in the subject of Remington actions not being robust enough in MOST cases to handle big bore cartridges (416 calibers, 458 calibers, etc) does it have the same problems with a milder cartridge such as 375 H&H
That's were I got confused earlier in the discussion I was thinking about PICATINNY rails...because a local gunsmith had advised me against spanning one across a big bore action because that space is paramount for loading, feeding, ejecting, and malfunction clearance for such hefty bullets
