ZIMBABWE: First Elephant Hunt In Zimbabwe

Day 2 was an exciting Day-hunt as we covered nearly 8 kms. At one point we watched a herd of cows and calves move parallel to us across a dry river bed, and then we walked right into a sleeping bull (2 yards in front of us)! He was a bit young, so we quietly backed away and marched on to find...

Wayne is an excellent PH with great pricing. His trackers, Sam, Cainon, and Ndlovo will locate many elephants, some a little closer than one would want

I have the Hawkeye African and used Hornady 400gr solids. The 2 bullets we recovered I could reload, as they showed no wear. The action was excellent, allowing me to get off 3 rapid shots.

Just completed the most exciting hunt in my life with Wayne Van Den Bergh and @NYAMAZANA SAFARIS! Based out of a classic fly-camp in the Gwai river area, I was surrounded by cows and bulls multiple times during the 8 days it took to get my bull - hunting whitetails will never be the same!! For...

Hello and help for a coming trip!

Just found this site and I need advice. I haven't hunted in Africa for over 30 years, so the trip I'm planning is similar to a first timer. I'm 62 and limp heavily, but have the ability to walk all day. I've found a couple of hunting camps that cater to disabled hunters (i.e. East Cape Plains...
