the Wapiti WMA near north platte (in Box Elder canyon) is slam full of birds I have been there 3 time now and got my three in two days each time, strangely I found this place through the Nebraska state turkey biologist, but have never seen another turkey hunter there.
PS- Don't try to drive up or down the hill in the rain, that mud is unreal
