El Paso Saddlery web cartridge belts?

I'll second this, cartridge wallet types are the way forward, rounds don't fall out in your bag or in the back of the land cruiser. Simple ones from El Paso in RSA like these are good. https://zimbi.co.za/product/el-paso-safari-ammo-wallet-5-shot/ I also dont see the need to walk around looking...

The Penetration Capability of the 416 Rigby

416 Rigby and Remington Mag shoot the same bullet weight at the same velocity. Performance is the same. A retired PH friend told me he used to use a 470 for most backups, but switched to a 416, because when backing up or shooting wounded DG he could penetrate DG game at any distance at an angle...

    Cartridges you just hate

Im not a fan of 300 Win mag or any of these newer WSM/wildcat cartridges that push a plainsgame bullets to mach 4........ Some people are infatuated with velocity which baffles me....Fine if you are shooting past 200 yards consitently, but I have seen bullets not perform at shorter distances...

mono vs lead for Cape Buffalo?

If you're hunting in a herd, and the Buff if running away after first shot, likely that there will other buffalo around, and the PH will probaby tell you not to shoot, for fear of hitting another buffalo. Unless it's way at the back or away from the herd/dagga boys etc PH will likely tell you to...

ZIMBABWE: Has Anyone Hunted With HHK Safaris?

you'd probably have better luck in the Mukuti area for Buff and Sable. This area is adjacent to Charara. Tinnie kok has that concession. CM Safaris hunt both in the Dande concession. Save and Bubye valley have both. Coutada 9 with Mokore Safaris has plenty of game, There are some recent reports...

Who’s done it? Cape buffalo or elephant with traditional large bore muzzleloader?

Some old topic on it, mayeb do a more in depth search on this forum https://www.africahunting.com/threads/58-caliber-double-rifle-buffalo.11537/ I think your issue will be travelling with BP, don't think the airlines will allow it. you could get BP in South Africa, maybe that the country to...
