If I could only pick one bullet to use for all of my hunting it would be the Trophy Bonded Bear Claw or one of its current varients the Trophy Bonded Tipped or the Terminal Accent. I like and use other bullets but my personal favorite it the TTBC family.
In 2024 I used my Ruger #1 in 416 Rigby for my first buffalo hunt. I used two round wrist strap on my non-shooting hand and a pair of belt slides. For fast follow up shots I reloaded from my wrist strap, if time allowed I reloaded from the belt slides.
Sable are big, tough, and expensive, I took mine at 220 yards with a single frontal chest shot using a 35 Whelen. If I was using a 6.5CM that day I would have passed on that shot. I'm in a very similar situation with my daughter, I’m planning a family safari in 2027 and if she can’t handle our...
The last three years in a row I've purchased A-Frames at the SCI convention in Nashville. I have purchased .30, .366, .375, .416 and .423 bullets there. The swift booth is my first stop when the doors open and I only attend the last two days of the convention.
My 9.3 x 62 love that CFE223 load and the 286 grain Hornady interlock bullet. The target below is a three shot group at 100 yards.
I wouldn't use it for thick skinned DG but for everything else I'm covered.

I would use one of Federals Trophy Bonded Bear Claw options, the original TBBC, the Trophy Bonded Tipped, or the new Terminal Asscent in 180 grain. I"m getting great accuracy with the S&B Blue Box ammo but I have not used it on game yet so I can't recommend it as a hunting round yet.
An appropriate hat for the climate and terrain you are hunting. Hats provide thermal regulation and protection from the sun and act as an impromptu collection device, some hats can even provide additional storage. Think about it, do you ever hunt without a hat?
