As you’ve mentioned, use your .375 for the big stuff. The 7-08 will work great as well. I’d use the 140 TTSX that you mentioned shot so well. My dad has used his .270 with 150 Partitions to cleanly take Kudu, Sable, Zebra, Blue WB. No reason that similar results can’t be had with the 7-08.

If I were taking my 7mm-08, and use the 140 TTSX if it shot well in my rifle. Also try 140 Nosler E-Tips. For lead core I’d try the 160 Partition.

I was 41. Celebrated my 42nd birthday there the day before flying home. Going again in a couple months, and already have a deposit down for another trip in 2026.

I’m planning to take my 7 REM Mag to RSA this June. It shoots 175 Partitions very well, so that’s my planned load for plains game.

Leupold BX4 8x42’s went with me on my most recent trip to Limpopo. I had no complaints at all, and plan to take them again this year.
