My hobbies include ultralight backpacking all over the US including parts of the Appalachian Trail and Colorado Trail. After hiking the Colorado Trail I went looking for a new challenged and took up "packrafting." This sport involves hiking into the mountains with a light raft and floating out. One such trip became a popular YouTube video after it went rather badly (it was supposed to be a 5 day trip, we got home in 11 days).
I now live in Alaska where I happy to have the opportunity to pursue big game hunting in a serious way.
I probably won't be able to hunt in Africa for some time. I'm guessing it will take me at least 5 years to feel like I've figured out hunting in Alaska.
