Hello Mike, need some help with 450NE double.
I am in Africa and we use Somchem powder, my double was regulated to 90g of S365 which is IMR4350 according to the conversion. I noted in one of your posts you use IMR4831 which is close to our S385.
What load would be safe to start with and what's max?

DavidRegarding the Verney Carron double you mentioned not shooting to decent regulation, I have heard of a few others, not many, same maker, doing same. A guy from Texas had one, I think it was in .450 nitro, that shot similar, and he and Ken B., along with participation from Verney Carron, I think, all agreed to ship it off to JJ at Champlin's for his re-regulation; paid for my Ken and Verney Carron. -

What sling studs do those swivels fit ? They look to be quite a bit wider than the standard modern swivels. They may be just what I need for my Remington 30 Express wide swivel studs. Can you measure the pin diameter ?
