The newer Bertram brass I have shot in 450 3-1/4” & 404 Jeffery has all been excellent. I prefer it to Hornady (pretty much the other option). Desert Tech is easy to deal with too.

I just shipped a rifle of similar weight USPS 4-day ground from TX to WI for $42, FYI.

bare rifle should be less than 6.75lbs. I believe it was 6lbs 14oz with a red dot and pic rail (when I weighed it). I can get an exact weight today.

Weekend bump. I could also sell this gun at a discount with a new factory black plastic T3X stock instead of the laminate.

TYPO: I just noticed in my post above, the velocity for the 23.5” JP Sauer was supposed to be 2256fps, not 2156fps. The 20” barrel was 58fps slower.

Well… I had less rifles and ammo than I thought at the house. Turns out my father has the 22.75” Ruger African and my box of 250gr TSX handloads. They run about 2600fps out of that rifle and I really wanted to see the velocity difference in the 20” with those loads. Side Note: My penetration...

Picked mine up in 9.3x62 this evening. I usually do not care for laminate stocks and was expecting to replace it with a B&C, but it really is a nicely done laminate. We’ll see… The open sights are perfect (as long as POI is correct), rear is not height adjustable. No big deal, NECG sells...
