  • Hey there Matt - i would love to understand some more about your bringing trophies home from South Africa in your checked luggage. My PH is holding onto a bushbuck euro and flatskin for me - and i am due back in South Africa in just over a week. He does have the export permit provided by the taxidermist for me. When you have a moment - could we go through the EDC Form and App? Looking forward to hearing from you.

When filling out the EDec form my wife says it is best to have the form up on your computer and the lady from SFO office walked her through it on the parts she couldn’t figure out. I would call your port. The lady told her the short cuts and clarified things. Send me a PM with your phone number. I’m in California.
Thank you very much for posting your trip report with Chapungu-Kambako Safaris! It looks like someone was fishing in one of your pictures. Do you know how they did? Were rods available if you wanted to fish near camp? I am booked with them this SEP. Haven't talked to them about it yet, but I really want to try to get some fishing in.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
