The Spurwing Goose gets it's name from the large spur on its wing, used for self-defense. Although this Goose is the largest Waterfowl in Africa, they are not as easy to shoot as one would think. Also being extremely clever makes for challenging shooting! The Egyptian Goose, or ''Gypo'', are smaller in size and their unique markings allow them to blend into their natural surroundings of maize fields and muddy pond edges.
