I shot him at 406 yards with my Tikka T3 in 7mm Rem Mag topped with a Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40 w/ Varmint Hunter reticle. Broadside shot through top of heart and both lungs using a hand load with 160gr Nosler Accubond at 2970 fps muzzle velocity. He was quite impressed

As am I! Great performance by gun, load and shooter. That load should do nicely for the heavy plains game or bull elk. Thanks....................Bill

Congratulations, may I enquire as to which powder you used in you hand loads? I am about to do some load development on the caliber for some sheep/ goat hunting. 168 nosler accubond lr,7 mm rem mag.
