My mother in law has two pairs of African elephant tusks. My father-in-law got them in Nigeria in the early 70s. They were brought into the US legally through a museum. My FIL was at the Nigerian Embassy as part of the Joints Chiefs of Staff. (He was a Lt. Colonel in the AF).
I'll include pictures below. Each set is about 38" long and weigh between 6-9 pounds each. Anyone have any ideas on how I can find more information on these?
