On top of a mountain glassing for Gemsbuck during the middle of our hunt, I resisted the requests from my PH to shoot a Klipspringer that was watching us at 20 yards. And then after some friendly teasing from Werner, the owner of Motshwere Safaris, while at dinner that night about why one shouldn't pass up a hard to find animal like a klipspringer, especially that close and with a crossbow, I shot this one the very next morning, miles from where we saw the first one the day before. My PH was just grinning when I shot it. I received the papers back with the SCI score of 11 0/16 putting this in the books at #4 ever shot with a crossbow.
