Finally received the first of my 2 semi custom E.R. Shaw rifles. This is the .300 H&H with 23in barrel. As soon as it got here I threw on a used gloss Leupold VX-iii 3.5-10x40 mounted with a set of gloss Warne QD's. Stock isn't quite what I was hoping for, not as much figure as I wanted and mostly in the fore end, but not bad. Fit and finish is nice overall. Now I need to load some rounds and give it a test. Hopefully it is very accurate! Still waiting on the .375 H&H and it will be interesting to compare the two.
