@tarbe If you truly saw the set up we had, you would know for sure that I'm 100% Appalachian American.
The drill press was separated from the base and turned 90 degrees then the base was clamped to a table.
The rifle is being held in place by two clamps, clamped to a 2x4 that's screwed to another 2x4 and held in a vice.
That grey thing around stock at the bottom clamp? That's a lure wrap to protect fishing lures...
Around the top I think was a piece of velcro strap I had laying around.
All that said, it got the job done and the hole was straight.
As I'm sure yours was as well, just without all the clamps and crap.
