Thanks @Rule 303 the figure in the stock is not as flamboyant as some but is very much in eeping with the stckwood thay used when this was the top of the line sporting rifle (along with the 98 Mauser of course)
Von Gruff, I much prefer the plainer figure in a rifle stock. Also the plain grain flow is normally better suited to the heavy recoilers as far as strength go.
