Thank you for that. I was truly blessed with the opportunity to take him. He was alone, no herd in the immediate area. We had just started tracking him, hadn't seen him yet. The PH whispered in my ear, "This could get interesting. He's bleeding." Sure enough, there were smears of blood on some of the brush we were trailing him through. Turns out he had a cut over his eye, couldn't determine the cause of the injury. The old guy never saw us when I shot him, one shot and he dropped. I look at him every single day. What a blessing.
