That is a great photo........................................Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut a Picatinny rail on a double:A Naughty::D

its a needed attachment for a professional hunter...or at least one that is adverse to stitches!
this is a mount I designed and it fits in the removed sling swivel holes and is tapered to the barrel (those slings and swivels are not needed as they attract grass and can led to a hang up at a bad time - I also always carry the gun in hand so don't need them).
the mount holds a small but very powerful flashlight on a quick detach mount that not only lights up anything that tries to jump on me so I can shoot it, but blinds it as well.
I use this on wounded cats, in and out of our blinds in the dark (we have a lot of lion), or in case of emergency - it has served me well...but its still a little ugly! function over form I guess.
thank you for looking at our photos and you have great attention to detail!

@Bullet Safaris I figured it was for a torch and the reasons you said. Just thought I would take the piss (have a joke) as we say in Oz.

For what it is worth I think it is a sound idea.

not a problem - I see that you are from Brisbane. I used to live there for about a year. Attended University there and stayed in Kings College. Great place in the world that Australia! Come and see us in TZ sometime.
