Age this buffalo

Nice solid boss with tips in very good condition so I was thinking maybe 9 years.
But the significant hair loss on the face makes me think perhaps 11. What would you experienced guys consider the age of this buffalo?
I say 6-7. The boss is hard but the texture of the horn isn't smoothed and rubbed down. The roughness means he's not that old. The hair loss is anecdotal in the same way the fact the horns haven't fused isn't conclusive to it being young.

with 6 years he has not so a hard boss
8-9 years were my impression.
But the living overal impression is for me also an important thing to judge the age.

just a few notes: some buffs bosses never fuse, thats a genetic trait
depending on where this buff lived and the terrain will have a big impact on his horn and skin condition
the hair loss is often attrubuted to diet, vitamin A defficiency causes hair loss
also time of year hunted, early season the look fat and healthy just after the summer and most animals have a growth spurt in the hurns over summer, late season end of winter older bulls look thinner and a bit rough
as long as its a adult bull and the client is happy its a great trophy
one of the best ways to tell the age of a buff is by checking the teeth
i guesstimate him at around 9 yrs
