White Rhino Hunting

Since many of you ask over the next few weeks, I will post on the entire big five hunt tonight. I will start with the rhino we hunted it in.Mopani South africa. It was decided to take this particular rhino due to the fact that he had become a problem. He was a very old mature bull and needed to be culled. I flew from Dallas to Johannesburg on July 22 and arrived at about 9:30 PM on the 23rd the next morning I was up early for my charter flew about two hours to the concession after landing we drove about one hour to the Hunting area we sighted in the 470 double rifle and proceeded to begin hunting after about four hours. We were able to find this particular rhino that we were pursuing. We were able to get within about 20 yards and able to take a good solid shot after about a 15 minute wait this was a fantastic mature trophy, and I was grateful for the opportunity
