They were pitiful shots when they set foot in Africa. Later, cool and crack shots as shown in their films when Osa dropped a charging elephant as Martin ran the camera. The dead elephant skidding to a stop mere feet from Osa. Surviving in Africa, a regular airliner accident killed Martin in the US.
