.416 something and 400gr bullets. Since your looking at this, you must be as bored as me for posting it, so can you guess what cartridge and each bullet brand/type they are?

Woodleigh RN SN but those have a cannelure and your pic doesn't have it.

Well, you're 1 for 4. You got the first bullet correct. I just bought some of those Barnes X bullets from a guy on GB. I guess they're an earlier version of the TSX? This is kind of tough if you don't reload as the bullets are older versions of newer factory bullets. But, try again if you want.
Well, that crap stuck this time! The case IS a .416 Taylor. From what I've learned, Remington sort of copied the Hoffman wildcat from the 1970s' to create their .416 Rem Mag from their 8mm cartridge, which is a longer case requiring a Magnum length action. The Taylor can be formed from .458 WM brass, which is what I mostly do, but this case in the photo is a Jamison brand Taylor head stamped case. Anyway, good catch!
Your real close on the last bullet and since it’ a bullet second and my photo of it sucks, I’ll say you got it. It’s a DGX, but you can’t really see the lead tip. As far as the cartridge, I believe Winchester really screwed up by not pushing for the commercialization of it in the 70s and 80s before the Rem Mag in 1989. Both Winchester and Ruger made prototype rifle, but that’s as far as it went. The beauty of it is one can neck up .338 WM or neck down .458 WM cases to create the case, and it will work in a long instead of a magnum action. The Ruger .416 is probably a better option today, but I have lots of .338 and some .458 once fired brass, and I enjoy reloading, so it works for me. One mystery bullet left!
