Members maybe I should point out the following: Olive wood handle with mosaic pins , the steel blade being forged with leaf spring steel , all buffed to a high polish..this is not stainless steel, so after every use you need to dry it thoroughly and put on a few drops of any oil rub it into the blade and this knife will last you a few generations, it is forged to keep an edge and virtually un-breakable.. As the blade age it will develop a patina which you can choose to leave as is or buff it again to it`s former shine..
