Replica Elephant Tusks

TCI in Bulawayo has completed the replica tusks, on to Harare and Andy Hunter, Chipitani Safaris, who has handled the dip & Pack/paperwork of the two previous trophy shipments and Lynn Duncan of LD Forwarding for shipment to Coppersmith in Atlanta.

Great folks to work with and excellent communication between all parties.
Very nice! I have used TCI twice before, but never for ele tusk repros. What did they cost? Upon recent return home from the Caprivi/Zambezi, 'had these delivered to the door for $100 ea. :p The finest hand-painted plastic money can buy! Ironically, from the same Asian country that supports massive poaching efforts in Africa.

@C.W. Richter

These are exact fiberglass replicas of my tusks, TCI also had other replica tusks to choose from at a lower cost. These ran me $1100.00, plus tracking and shipping still TBD!

They do, of course look Very realistic! (Someone really should've taught your ele to brush better.) ENJOY!!

@Edge they did mine as well and I'm pleased with them. One big regret I have is that I should have tried to buy the molds. My MN taxidermist is a real artist and could possibly have even improved upon them. But yea in any case, gotta have them cast from your originals. ;)

Congratulations!

@ActionBob

I like your train of thought. I should have had them make two sets, one they painted and a second pair “in the white”! My daughter is a fantastic artist and probably could have improved on them, that is if she had time between pumping out grandkids!
